DidgElement
FAQ
Can you help me choose my didgeridoo?
With pleasure: I can create a unique instrument together with you. I work with beginners and experienced players alike. Tell me what you are looking for and I will guide you towards the didgeridoo best suited to your needs.
Can I choose the wood species, the finish and the mouthpiece?
Yes, of course. All my didgeridoos can be customised: I use selected local woods, offer different finishes (matt, satin or gloss) and make custom-turned mouthpieces for your playing comfort. Feel free to contact me to choose from my available stock.
What are your lead times for a standard instrument?
I make my instruments to order. For the DidgElement range, lead times are between 4 and 8 weeks. For a custom-made model or the Evoludidg, allow between 6 and 12 weeks.
What is the difference between the finishes (matt, satin, gloss)?
It is above all a question of look. Matt gives a natural appearance, satin adds a soft, subtle sheen, and gloss strongly highlights the wood grain. I also offer an oiled finish for a natural look. In every case, the air column is protected by 3 coats of varnish for optimum durability.
Which bag should I choose for my didgeridoo?
I offer custom-made bags (with protective foam, shoulder strap and balanced handle) or standard bags. If you would like a perfectly fitted model, send me your didgeridoo’s dimensions (mouthpiece, bell, length).
Can the mouthpieces be modified?
Yes, I fit mouthpieces to your didgeridoo according to your needs. It is an important element for your playing comfort and your didgeridoo’s responsiveness: don’t underestimate it, contact me to discuss it.
How do I order?
Contact me by email or phone. Feel free to send me details or photos of what you have in mind: I will listen carefully and make the didgeridoo that suits you. I can also welcome you to my showroom, in the heart of the Vercors mountains, so you can try my latest creations. A great opportunity to talk didgeridoos together.
How does payment work? Can I pay in instalments?
You can pay by bank transfer or credit card. For a custom-made instrument, I ask for a deposit when you place your order. If needed, we can discuss paying in instalments.
Do you ship? What are the costs and delivery times?
Yes, I ship worldwide. Costs depend on the country and the weight of the parcel, and delivery times vary by destination. Contact me for an accurate quote.
What if my instrument arrives damaged or I need to return it?
If the parcel is damaged on delivery, take photos before opening it fully and contact me immediately. After checking, I will offer you a repair or compensation.
What warranty and after-sales service do you offer?
All my instruments come with a 2-year warranty against cracks and natural defects. If you have a problem, contact me and together we will find the best solution for a return or a repair.
How should I look after my didgeridoo?
I recommend cleaning the inside with a mild soap (such as black soap), rinsing thoroughly and letting it dry upright. You can also use a few drops of Eucalyptus radiata essential oil to freshen the air column. Avoid sudden changes in temperature and direct sunlight.
How should I store my didgeridoo day to day?
After playing, let it dry upright in a well-ventilated room, then store it in its bag. I always include a pad so you can rest the instrument on the floor without damaging it.
